About Our Company
Bernardino's Bakery (formerly known as Stadnicki's Bakery) was founded in 1918 by the Stadnicki family who operated the bakery until 1977 when Manuel Bernardino purchased the bakery. He then introduced Portuguese breads and pastries to complement the Polish and American line of products. The tradition of exceptional quality and service continued, and in 1983 the bakery changed ownership again.
Bernardino's Bakery now runs two production shifts and operates delivery routes throughout Western Massachusetts and Connecticut with a depot in Danbury, CT. Bernardino's also produces bread for other large well-known bakeries and supermarket chains.
With an established fleet already in place, Bernardino's is a well known distributor of pita breads, organic breads, and tortillas and welcomes opportunities for distribution expansion. Always looking ahead, Bernardino's is now expanding their business to supply exceptional baked goods to institutions including school systems, hospitals, and restaurants.
Bernardino's is a member of The American Institute of Baking (AIB). As members of AIB, Bernardino's facility undergoes a yearly rigorous inspection of food safety and year after year they receive a certificate of
Achievement with a rating of EXCELLENCE.
